Joanne is the Senior Director of Operations for Healthy Learners and works in the corporate office. Prior to joining Healthy Learners in 2008, Joanne worked at Palmetto Health Baptist for 10 years and also has experience working in the health insurance industry, computer industry, and state government. Joanne earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Claflin University.

Joanne and her husband Walter have three children and four grandchildren. She is a certified interior designer and enjoys decorating and listening to music. As an active member of her community, she is a member of Brookland Baptist Church, where she serves as an usher and a member of the church’s budget committee.
