Jonathan Artz serves as the Director of Grants and Strategic Partnerships at Healthy Learners. He brings eight years of experience as a Program Officer at South Carolina First Steps, where he supported early childhood initiatives and strengthened partnerships across the state.

Jonathan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. He also served in the Peace Corps in Ecuador from 2002 to 2004.

He is the proud father of two boys and a cat. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys hiking, mountain biking, soccer, tennis, and traveling, and one of his favorite places to visit in Columbia is the Riverwalk.
